Membership benefits

Who we are...

We are a unique stakeholder group, the only membership organisation that promotes and celebrates excellence in customer relations and the benefits of building businesses around customer requirements.

What we do...

The Consumer Forum has been created to promote the value of consumer-centric businesses via a concerted campaign aimed at customers, the Government, the media and other key influencers.

How you benefit...

Members share best practice of consumer experience within the group and the forum will take a lead role in disseminating this information to key Government and industry stakeholders and the media.

The benefits

  • Business development and networking. Forum members gain significant business development potential through the opportunities and networking events presented to them through Forum membership. In tough economic circumstances, emphasising and promoting the value of good customer relations for your business is a crucial way to differentiate you from your competitors.
  • Increased media profile. Through pooling resources and acting together, members can expect the Consumer Forum to act as a platform for increasing their media presence. Membership of the Forum includes a comprehensive public relations campaign aimed raising the profile of the Consumer Forum and positioning it as a go-to body for media comment on consumer affairs.
  • Reputation building and brand positioning. Membership of the Forum gives companies a unique selling point in the marketplace and differentiate them from market rivals.
  • Political leverage. Political engagement presents an opportunity for the Forum to shape Government decisions and future legislation around consumer engagement and regulation. The Forum’s work programme includes targeted political engagement for the Forum, with individuals such as Consumer Affairs Minister Kevin Brennan MP.
