More about us
Founded by eight innovative and entrepreneurial UK companies, the Forum aims to promote the value of consumer-centric businesses to customers, the Government and the media, as well as other key influencers. Our members have all delivered change to meet customers’ specific needs, whether by offering innovative services such as LoveFilm, PhotoBox, the Reading Room or Chemist Direct, or by making products available and appealing to new audiences, such as King of Shaves, Ella’s Kitchen, Sharpham Park or A Suit that Fits.
Forum members believe that a focus on providing excellent customer experiences brings considerable value to businesses and the wider UK economy. Our members are continuing to experience strong growth during the economic downturn because they insist on putting the customer first and believe the long term solution to a recession is not to cut costs but to provide the best possible service.
The Consumer Forum seeks to be the mouthpiece of the customer within the business community, and to put customer service firmly on the policy agenda.
The Forum aims:
- To work with Government and other stakeholders to ensure the value of customer relations is fully recognised in public policy.
- To identify and promote innovative ways of providing an excellent consumer experience and to publicise the great work being done by members in this field.
- Members will share best practice in the consumer experience within the group and the Forum will take a lead role in disseminating this information to key Government and industry stakeholders and the media.
