Why the Consumer Forum?

There are a number times I have read reviews on servicing and helping the consumer and invariably it is having a go at business. I know sometimes it is hard to get everything right but on the whole I hope that businesses realise it is in their best interest to ‘love the customer’ and build your business around what they want.

There are a number of businesses that I have come across in the last few years who have done just that, in speaking to them all, despite the recessionary environment they funnily enough all seem to be growing at a great rate. I wanted to learn from them, share experiences and work with them to try to build a panel of customers who we can learn from as we grow. This is the genesis of the Consumer Forum and I am very excited about it getting off the ground this week with some great companies.

We sometimes all need to take long hard look at how we can better serve customers. At LOVEFiLM we have created a brand new sector of the market over the last few years by doing things differently in film rental. By offering better choice , value and convienience to people who want to watch film. We are now actively  migrating  the business from the physical to the digital world over the next five to ten years and we hope we can keep the same passion and excitment in the new world, I am sure we can!

However, you can help. Sign up to join the panel or if you run a business servicing customers, get in touch with us. Not only do we want to help each other but if we can help policy makers drive more innovation into how we serve our end customers then across he economy we will grow.
