Warren Bennett & David Hathiramani

Warren Bennett is a graduate of Cambridge University, where he received a distinction in his Master’s Degree of aeronautical engineering. Warren is also a graduate of the highly selective CDI MBA course in Paris, working in marketing strategy at the French Real Estate firm, Nexity for his consulting project. David studied Computing at Imperial College, London, completing his degree in 2002.
During his stint at the CDI, Warren started a small importation business, while David co-founded and was Financial Director of the highly successful recruitment company, APS Recruitment. David and his brother saw APS grow from £500k turnover in 2002 to £6m in 2005. Having implemented APS’s IT infrastructure, which is still operational today, David left the company in 2005 having played a fundamental role in the company’s success and expansion. During this time, David also qualified as an accountant, where he gained ACCA part 2 accreditation, with 100% examination pass rate.
A Suit That Fits.com A Suit That Fits.com was founded in 2006 and operated from Hampstead Market. It is the world’s first online hand-tailored suit making company. As such, it represents a revolutionary new approach to tailoring, allowing anyone to custom design their own individually tailor-made suit, from the traditional to the daring, at an off the peg price. David and Warren see the A Suit That Fits.com as levelling the suit making and buying process, which in the past has been synonymous with snobbery and deep pockets. A Suit That Fits.com is the one stop shop for an excellent suit that fits perfectly to your body, individually styled and designed for you and at extremely reasonable prices.
The self-funded venture is now turning over £1.4million a year, and employs a staff of sixteen people and now has 13 branches nationwide. The success of start-up has not been overlooked by the business community. A Suit That Fits.com has recently been awarded the Small to Medium Business of the Year, South East, at the National Business Awards, as well as ‘Online Business of the Year’ and ‘Young Entrepreneur of the Year’ at the Startups awards.
